Bristol Defendant Solidarity is a grassroots group that has been organising against state repression since 2011 by supporting criminalised people. Since 2021, BDS has been actively working with those facing serious charges - especially riot and arson - from the Kill the Bill demonstrations, which were against increasing police powers.
